Nathan Paul Staley Mysteries
Nathan Paul Staley is an investigator for the National Park Service. After
the Fort Marcy Park debacle, the Republican controlled US Congress pushed
a dozen US Capital Police into the NPS, to clean up their poor crime
investigation techniques. These are short stories, roughly equivalent to
a paper version of an hour television drama. At present, there is only
one, slated to appear in my first anthology.
"Park Placed"
On Halloween, the head of a Lesbian political action committee and her partner
are brutally murdered and dumped naked in the pond just east of
the Vietnam Veterans' Memorials on the DC Mall.
With the November elections only days away, Inspector Staley
is called in. With political pressure from above and
only a trampled crime scene to work with,
Nathan's troubles are just starting.
